چکیده
Hydrogels which are hydrophilic and porous materials have recently emerged as promising systems for filtration applications. In our study, we prepare hydrogel membranes by the photopolymerization of a mixture poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) large poly(ethylene (PEG) chains 300 000 g.mol-1 in presence photoinitiator. We find that this addition free PEG induces non-linear increase water permeability. Indeed, changing content added, obtain variations permeability over two orders magnitude. The highest values obtained when concentration is equal to its critical overlap C*. Moreover, flow rate through varies non-linearly with pressure. relate result deformability applied pressure leads compression pores. This study provides new perspectives design flexible controlled their application treatment bioseparation.

The separation of gases utlhzmg polymenc membranes has emerged mto a commercially utlhzed unit operation It has been recogmzed m the past decade that the separation factor for gas pairs vanes inversely with the permeablhty of the more permeable gas of the speclflc pair An analysis of the literature data for bmary gas mixtures from the hst of He, Hz, 02, Nz, CH4, and COz reveals an upper bound r...
متن کاملSeepage with Nonlinear Permeability by Least Square FEM
In seepage problems, the coefficients of permeability in Laplace equation are usually assumed to be constant vs. both space and time; but in reality these coefficients are variable. In this study, the effect of material deformation due to external loads (consolidation) and variation of head in the consolidation process are considered. For the first case, formulation of kx and ky can be defined ...
